Please note that the licensing model can be negotiated based on the individual or team specific needs. Also, a payment plan is in the current works that may allow an individual or team to commit a specific percentage to the engine and pay on a monthly fixed rate.

Licensing Package Offerings

Weekend Warrior Package The Weekend Warrior license is aimed at individuals or team members seeking to license the engine before committing to the Indie Commercial license. The “Weekend Warrior” licensing model provides all the technical features of the commercial license and most of the benefits of the commercial license. However, any derivative work cannot be used for commercial or profit. Weekend Warrior licensees do have the option to upgrade to the commercial license at any time.

Indie Commercial Package The Indie Commercial license package is geared toward individuals and team members who are seeking to get started on the LawMaker engine with high priority developer support and the ability to create any derivative work for commercial use. It also entitiles developers under this category to receive access and discounts to new products that are being developed here at DarkRoom Studios.

Flexible Upgrade Options

DarkRoom Studios allows you the ability to upgrade your Licensing model to fit your current and future needs. As an indie developer, you have the option to upgrade from your current Licensing model to a higher model anytime you’re ready. This allows you and your team to select the licensing model that works best for you with the option of upgrading in the near future. For example, single developers who would like to add more support and features on startup can invest in the “Indie Commercial” license and then upgrade to the Team Edition when they see fit. And more importantly, if you own any one of the “Weekend Warrior” packages and decide to upgrade within 6 months to an “Indie Commercial” license, you will receive the discount cost of your original purchase. It’s that easy.

Referral Program within “Partners and ReSellers”

• As a LawMaker Engine licensee, you are eligible for the referral program.
• All licensees of the LawMaker Game Engine are encouraged to help promote the Lawmaker Game Engine. In doing so, you will receive 3% on the total sale of any “Weekend Warrior” package and 5% on any “Indie Commercial” license.

Optional Payment Plan

Darkroom Studios provides payment plans to reduce the barrier to entry for developers seeking to purchase any one of the “Indie Commercial” packages. Payment plans and monthly rates are subject to approval by Darkroom Studios.

· Direct developer email support is provided. Commercial users have the additional option of SKPYE support.

The LawMaker Game Engine license provide 2 upgrade terms.

· Additional 6 months for $49.99
· Additional 1 year for $99.99
